There is a gray area when it comes to Nebraska’a cannabis laws that Omaha State Senator Justin Wayne wants to clear up.

With that, Wayne plans to introduce two bills in January that would modernize Nebraska’s cannabis laws.  He wants to see the legalization of CBD oil use if it contains less than .03% THC.

Wayne says there has been a lot of research done over the past 20 to 30 years that shows CBD oil can help with a number of conditions from PTSD to pain and says Nebraskans deserve that option to see if it can help.  Attorney General Doug Peterson has indicated he is opposed to changing the current law.
