Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse recently returned from a trip with a Congressional delegation to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Sasse says the battle in Afghanistan against terrorist groups leaks over into Pakistan from time to time.

Sasse says the troops he spoke with understand the battle ahead…and believe in the cause.

Sasse spent a bit more than four days on the trip with a Congressional delegation of four senators.
