Sen Grassley Stands By Opposition to Ban FBI Terrorism Suspects from Buying Guns

As solutions are sought in the wake of the weekend mass killing in Florida, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is standing by his opposition to a ban that would prevent F-B-I terrorism suspects from buying guns. Grassley, a Republican, says many people who are on terror watch lists should -not- be listed and have had their constitutional rights violated.

That list, Grassley says, is not accurate and it once included Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy. The F-B-I also has what’s known as a “nix list” of individuals who are banned from buying firearms. Grassley says that list is also “flawed.”

Grassley noted the alleged gunman who killed nearly 50 people and wounded many more in an Orlando nightclub on Sunday was not on -any- lists and could legally buy guns.
