The Yankton City Commission approved the sale of a parcel of city owned land at their meeting last Monday night.

Community and Economic Development Director Dave Mingo says it is one piece of a larger city owned lot..

Mingo says the price was set by the current commercial land market…

Mingo was questioned on the use of the land by Commissioner Nathan Johnson….

The land is located just north of Menards on north Broadway Avenue.
