South Dakota alumna Nicole Seekamp is slated to compete with the Australian Opals at a four-nation tournament in China between July 11-22.
Australia will face China, Serbia and Argentina in three games over three days before a rest day separates three rematches over the last three days of the tournament. The fourth-ranked Opals will take on No. 8 Serbia in a rematch of the 2016 Olympic quarterfinal.
Still donning No. 35, Seekamp’s first appearance with the Opals was at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in April. Australia took home the gold in the tournament, winning all five games by 40 or more points.
