Earlier Jerome Hertel who’s held the job for the past seven years announced he’s resigning to take a similar position in Alaska. Lentsch says he’s put together a panel to help him review applications.
Lentsch says they’re not rushing through the search process.
Lentsch says Hertel did a great job running the State Fair evidenced by this year’s event which saw a total attendance of over 210,000, all vendor spots sold out with over 500 of those., and 20,000 tickets sold for the grandstand entertainment.
