Search Continues for Missing Aircraft

The Civil Air Patrol has been searching for a small plane, presumably lost on a flight from Aberdeen to Oakes North Dakota. Nearly 90 personnel and four aircraft took part in the search on Sunday.
The missing aircraft is a Cessna 172, white with blue markings. It had one person on board. Authorities believe the plane has an emergency locator beacon, but no signal has been heard. The plane left Aberdeen bound for Oakes about 10PM Wednesday night.

Pilots flying in the Aberdeen area should be aware of more traffic than usual. CAP aircraft are red, white and blue in color.
Anyone with information should contact the Brown County Sheriffs Office at 605-626-7911.
