The one-two attack of Macy Miller and Madison Guebert carried the South Dakota State women’s basketball team to a 66-52 nonleague win over North Dakota in the friendly confines of Frost Arena in front of 1,646 fans.
In last year’s game, Miller and Guebert combined for 51 points to lead the Jackrabbits to an 83-72 road win over the Fighting Hawks. Wednesday night, the duo combined for 30 points as South Dakota State improved to 3-0.
Miller scored 18 points to go with eight rebounds while Guebert added 12 points. Ellie Thompson added seven points, five rebounds and a career-high five blocks.
Leah Klabo led North Dakota (0-2) with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds.
