A 15-0 run with just over four minutes to play was the difference as the South Dakota State women’s basketball team defeated North Dakota State, 81-63, Sunday afternoon in Summit League action in Fargo.

The Jackrabbits, 12-3, 2-0, were led by sophomore guard Macy Miller (Mitchell) who finished with a game-high 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field.

Classmate Ellie Thompson (Chaska, Minn.) registered her second double-double of the season and third of her career with 16 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.

Junior guard Kerri Young (Mitchell) tallied 16 points and game-high 4 assists. Junior forward Clarissa Ober (Glencoe, Minn.) just missed a double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds. She and Thompson combined for seven blocks.
