South Dakota State advanced to The Summit League Championship semifinals for the fifth time in six championships with a 79-61 win over No. 7 seeded Denver Saturday.

Senior Megan Waytashek led three Jacks in double-digits in scoring with a game-high 21 points. SDSU has a six-game winning streak and has won 10 of its last 11 outings.

The Jackrabbits have won five league championships in the tournament’s history. SDSU is 16-1 overall in the tournament.
