The South Dakota State women’s basketball team opened Tuesday night’s game against Chattanooga with a 10-0 run and cruised to a 71-54 road win.
Macy Miller, who moved into second in career scoring at SDSU (5-3) on a 3-pointer in the second quarter, led four Jackrabbits in double digits in scoring. The senior tallied 17 points and was a perfect four-for-four from 3-point range.
Paiton Burckhard scored 12 points and grabbed a team- and career-best seven rebounds. Madison Guebert and Myah Selland each had 11 points.
Lakelyn Bouldin led UTC (4-6) with 18 points.
