After opening the season 3-1, the South Dakota State women’s basketball team travels south for Thanksgiving for the Puerto Rico Clasico in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Friday and Saturday at Cardinal Gibbons Arena.
The Jackrabbits open the Clasico Friday at 1:30 p.m. vs. No. 23 NC State and plays Charlotte Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on 570 WNAX.
SDSU fell short in its last game, losing 55-41 at Green Bay Nov. 18. Summit League Player of the Year candidate Macy Miller led the Jackrabbits with 11 points.
NC State enters the weekend undefeated at 5-0 after defeating Old Dominion in Virginia Monday night, 73-56.
Charlotte snapped a two-game losing streak with a 51-47 road win at UNC Asheville Nov. 18.
