After opening the season 3-1, the South Dakota State women’s basketball team travels west for the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout in Las Vegas, Friday and Saturday at the South Point Arena.
The Jackrabbits open the tournament Friday at 9:30 p.m. vs. No. 4 Baylor and plays Buffalo Saturday at 7 p.m. Both games can be heard on 570 WNAX.
The Jackrabbits picked up their third consecutive win Nov. 15 with a 74-48 win over Creighton. Macy Miller logged her third consecutive 20-plus point game and sixth career double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Jackrabbits.
Baylor is 4-0 on the season after knocking off Southern Nov. 15, 94-49, in Waco Nov. 15. Buffalo enters the weekend 2-1 after losing 102-82 to No. 3 Oregon Nov. 18 in Eugene. The Bulls play Georgetown Friday.
