South Dakota State University has scheduled November 1st as Swine Day when pork producers can learn more about the swine focused research at SDSU and hear from two key-note speakers.  Bob Thaler is an extension swine specialist and talks about the upcoming Swine Day event.  Thaler says this year’s Swine Day will feature not one, but two key-note speakers.  The SDSU swine specialist says the seminar is free of charge, but the university asks that attendees register by the October 28th deadline.  Thaler says officials have decided to group the research topics as part of the educational seminars.  Swine Day will be held at McCrory Gardens on the east side of campus at 631 22nd Avenue beginning at 9:00 a.m.
