A pair of exhibition basketball games at Frost Arena gave South Dakota State’s women’s and men’s squads final tuneups for next week’s regular season openers.

Myah Selland scored a game-high 23 points to lead the South Dakota State women’s basketball team to a 77-46 win over University of Mary.

Selland sank three 3-pointers on her way to the 23 points. Macy Miller added 16 points. Selland, Paiton Burckhard and Tagyn Larson each snared seven rebounds.

South Dakota State men’s basketball picked up an 82-63 exhibition victory over South Dakota Mines.

The Jackrabbits had three players in double figures, led by Mike Daum’s 29 points. Skyler Flatten added 17 points and Tevin King scored 12.

Matt Dentlinger pulled down a game-high 12 boards and scored seven points.
