At the recently concluded National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Courtney Zimmerman of Wisconsin who attends South Dakota State University was chosen as a National Officer. Zimmerman who’s majoring in Ag Communications at SDSU was elected at Central Region Vice President. SDSU President Dr. Barry Dunn says he wasn’t surprised by having one of their students achieve this high honor.

He says their Ag Communications program has been very popular and has great leadership in Lora Berg heading up that department for the College of Agriculture.

Dunn says having Courtney Zimmerman become a National FFA officer goes well with other recent student achievements and the opening of their new Precision Ag Building.

Zimmerman was named to the National FFA officer team at the conclusion of the FFA’s 94th. Annual convention and Expo. She’ll be serving her term as Vice President during the 2021-2022 year.
