The current President of the Student Association at South Dakota State University wants to continue on in public service.
Caleb Finck of Tripp says he will run for the District 19 Senate seat. Current Senator Bill Van Gerpen of Tyndall has said he will not run again.

Finck says being young should not be a handicap to serving in the legislature….

District 19 includes parts of Bon Homme, Douglas, Hutchinson, Hanson and McCook Counties.
