SDSU Standout In All Star Game

Former South Dakota State football player Bryan Witzmann has been selected to play in the College AllStar Bowl later this week.

 

A native of Houlton, Wis., Witzmann earned All-America honors at left tackle during both the 2012 and 2013 seasons. He started all 49 of the team’s games during his four-year Jackrabbit career.

 

Witzmann will suit up for the Nationals team and wear uniform No. 74. He will report to Greenville, S.C., on Tuesday, with practices, meetings with scouts and social events planned forWednesday and Thursday. The game, which will be played at Paladin Stadium on the Furman University campus, is scheduled to be televised on CBS Sports Network starting at 5 p.m. Friday.
