South Dakota State dropped its second decision to North Dakota State in men’s play while sweeping its league series with the Bison women in Saturday Summit League action.

– South Dakota State entered Saturday’s game at North Dakota State with a chance to earn a share of the lead in The Summit League men’s standings, but the host Bison got hot early, and ran away with a 74-59 win, clinching a share of the league’s regular season crown in the process.

— South Dakota State used a 12-2 run early in the second half to record a 75-53 victory over North Dakota State in Summit League women’s basketball action Saturday in front of 2,225 fans in Frost Arena. The Jackrabbits recorded their 100th win in Summit League history and extended their home win streak to 17 games, the third-longest mark in SDSU history.
