South Dakota State women’s soccer saw its season come to an end Friday night in the first round of the NCAA tournament, not advancing in penalty kicks after earning a scoreless draw at Nebraska.
Playing in front of a crowd of 1,257 people, the Jacks (10-7-4) found themselves in their third consecutive shootout, but after claiming the previous two, saw Nebraska advance in the tournament with a 3-0 penalty kick advantage.
Even throughout the entire 110 minutes of regulation and over time periods, the contest was filled with crisp ball movement and momentum swings from both teams on the pitch.
