Joel Reichow set the sixth-fastest time in SDSU history in the 3,000-meter run on Saturday at the Bill Bergan Invite. Reichow placed eighth overall in the event as he posted a final time of 8 minutes, 23.39 seconds.

The Jackrabbits took the top-two spots in the men’s unseeded 3,000-meter run. Brendan Sage won the race with his time of 8:36.89 and Andrew Thies claimed second place with his final time of 8:37.49; they both set personal best times in the event.

In the men’s one-mile run, the Jackrabbits claimed three out of the top-10 spots. Daniel Pettit led the Jacks with his fourth place finish as he posted a time of 4:21.39. In eighth was Trevor Capra with his overall time of 4:25.47 and Grant VanKeulen rounded out the top-10 with his final time of 4:46.52.
