The Summit League named South Dakota State junior Joseph Minor-Williams Cross Country Male Athletes of the Week after his performance this past weekend at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota.

This is the first weekly award for Minor-Williams.

He placed 17th out of 117 runners at the Griak with a personal-best 8K time of 25:11.7 and
lead the Jackrabbits to a third-place team finish out of 14 teams.

The Jackrabbits finished ahead of regionally ranked California Baptist, UC Santa Barbara, Columbia and Minnesota.
