SDSU Research Park Showing Economic Benefits

The Board of Regents got an update this week on the status of the South Dakota State University Research Park.
Executive Director Dwaine Chapel says they continue to grow…..

Chapel says the initial investments in the park are paying off……

The park, which was started in 2004, is a partnership between the Regents, Brookings County, the City of Brookings and the SDSU Foundation.
Chapel says they have active growth plans……

Chapel says they are working with angel investment funds, and corporate recruitment. He says they are looking for connections to precision agriculture and engineering.
