South Dakota legislators set aside twenty million dollars for development and construction of a production scale bio-sciences lab at South Dakota State University.

SDSU President Barry Dunn says the project, in cooperation with the School of Mines, will lead to industrial level production…

Dunn says a new building in their research park will be the base for new product development…

Dunn says the research and production will be based on South Dakota agriculture….

Eight million dollars more must be raised to get the facility underway and Dunn says they are well on the way to that goal. He says its possible they may break ground by this fall.
