South Dakota State University will get up to eighty million dollars from the US Department of Agriculture as part of the “Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities Initiative.”

Kristi Cammack, project lead, and director of the SDSU West River Research and Extension Center, says it will help solidify livestock raising and marketing….

Cammack says they will work with producers on best practices…..

Cammack says they will use the grant for a number of programs….

The funding will be provided over the next five years as the program begins and expands.
