The 26th annual SDSU Lamb Bonanza is set for Saturday, January 13 at Frost Arena in Brookings. SDSU Extension Sheep Specialist Jeff Held says the purpose of the event is to showcase South Dakota’s sheep industry and raise money for student scholarships in the Animal Science and Athletic Departments.

He says they’ve had great success in the past raising funding for student scholarships at the Lamb Bonanza.

Held says they’ll get the festivities underway at 1:00 pm with the lamb feed.

Held says SDSU currently has around 450 undergraduate students enrolled in the Animal Science Department.
