As classes begin on university campuses this week, administrators are helping freshmen settle in, get acquainted and stay socially distanced.

South Dakota State University President Barry Dunn says they had a lot of outdoor activities for first year students…

Dunn says they are making adjustments to activities this term..

Dunn says there is more attention to students and their dorms..

Current policy at state universities requires masks to be worn in all public indoor gathering places. That doesn’t currently apply to dorms.
