The South Dakota State women’s soccer team will face second-seeded North Carolina in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament Friday at 4 p.m. CT in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Jackrabbits (10-7-2) earned their second berth in the College Cup by besting Denver in the Summit League Tournament final Saturday. After Nicole Hatcher tied the game at one in the last 31 seconds of regulation, South Dakota State topped the Pioneers, 5-4, on penalty kicks.
