The South Dakota beef industry will be on center stage at the 52nd annual Beef Bowl at South Dakota State University this Saturday in Brookings. SDSU Animal Science Professor Cody Wright, says they’ll hold a beef barbeque starting at 3:30 p.m. and the game starts at 6 p.m. where they’ll recognize the beef industry and prime promoters.
He says the money raised from the barbeque and auction goes for scholarships for SDSU Animal Science students.
Wright says more than two dozen students are supported through the scholarship program.
