Wind power projects continue to spring up in Iowa, while in neighboring South Dakota progress has slowed, at least for the time being.
Iowa now produces more than thirty-five percent of its electricity from wind generators.

Landeen says while wind power projects have slowed a bit, there are a number that could develop rapidly…..

Proposed projects in Lincoln, Bon Homme and Charles Mix Counties have run in to local opposition.
