South Dakota Secretary of State Shantel Krebs says while voting results are reported electronically to her office, they are not exposed to the internet…..

Krebs says their voter information is also secured……

Krebs says vote results are tabulated in each county, then transmitted to her office……

Krebs says all the ballots are securely stored in each county seat until all races are settled.
