Now past the state’s primary election, attention turns to the general election in November.
South Dakota voters will see up to ten ballot issues this fall.
One of the more involved issues is one their backers are calling “TV-22.”
Former Senate candidate and organizer Rick Weiland says it is a three part issue dealing with political reforms, the first is Amendment “T”……….
Weiland says Amendment “V” would drop party labels from state elections…..
Initiated Measure 22 would set up an ethics commission…..
Weiland says it is a lot of change in a small package to education will be critical to help voters understand those issues.
