With this year being very successful for the South Dakota Department of Tourism, they are already setting targets and goals for next year.
Tourism taxes are up from nine to twenty three percent through the end of September.
Department Secretary Jim Hagen says they are looking at one big potential new market……

Hagen says they will continue to work on proven markets too…………

Hagen says they are also starting to see more interest from a different part of the country……

Hagen says they will roll out more details at the Governors Tourism Conference in Pierre in January.
