While most students are just starting their summer vacations, higher education officials are working on fall enrollment plants.
Clayton Deuter, vice president of enrollment services at Mitchell Technical College, says they are encouraged by the early trend….

The school enrollment last year was just under 1200 students.
Deuter says the impacts of the pandemic are wearing off….

Deuter says they are seeing good returns with the “Build Dakota” scholarship program….

Businesses fund half that program with the school picking up the rest. The student gets a free ride scholarship by agreeing to work for the sponsor company for three years.
