Josh Haeder of Huron is preparing to head west on Highway 14 to become South Dakota’s state Treasurer.

He won election to the job earlier this month and is the only new face among the state’s constitutional officers.

He says getting staff on board is his priority..

Haeder says he will follow through on plans he talked about during the campaign..

Haeder says he will need to find some new workers…

Haeder follows Rich Sattgast who was elected State Auditor after two terms as Treasurer.
