Incumbent Republican State Senator Jim Bolin of Canton won the District 16 Senate primary race this week over long time legislator Nancy Rasmussen of Hurley by a fifty two to forty eight percent margin.
Bolin says the newly redrawn district was a big factor……

Bolin says he spent a lot of time in the new territory in the district….

Bolin says he and Rasmussen agreed on most of the issues….

Bolin will face Democrat Donn Larson of Hudson and independent Brian Burge of Marion in the November general election.
