South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard has called legislators back to Pierre for a special session. The session will deal with a compromise bill that would reopen a number of lakes that have been closed to most fishing.
Lieutenant Governor Matt Michels says it will be a pretty simple process….

Michels says they need the two thirds majority to put the bill into law immediately…..

Michels says it may take some debate to get the needed votes…..

The issue came from a state Supreme Court ruling that neither the state nor landowners had superior rights to waters that have spread over private land. The session is set for this Monday.
