The South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks has signed a cooperative Memorandum of Understanding with the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
The agreement gives state and tribal wildlife counterparts formalized processes to share information, coordinate resources and better manage shared natural resources throughout Oglala Lakota, Jackson and Bennett counties.

The Daugaard Administration has also entered into MOUs with the Lower Brule Sioux and Rosebud Sioux tribes.
