A bi-partisan group of Senators have sidetracked proposed changes and possible closures of Veterans Administration health care facilities.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says the group put a hold on confirming any members of a VA oversight commission….

A 2018 law set up the “Asset and Infrastructure Review Act” to evaluate possible changes to VA medical facilities.

Rounds says with no active commission, the proposed changes won’t happen…..

Rounds says it takes a cloud away from state VA facilities….

Rounds says it gives the VA and Congress time to come up with a better plan for those medical facilities.
