President Obama has issued an executive order that calls for the closure of the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
The President first made that pledge during the 2008 campaign.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says that executive order is in conflict with a law that the President also signed…..

Rounds says moving the prisoners held in Cuba to facilities in the States would also be very expensive…..

Rounds says he believes Congress has the authority to keep the detention facility open…..

Rounds says he has visited the detention center and found it was secure and professionally run.
