There have been reports that Russia offered bounties to Taliban militants for killing US soldiers in Afghanistan and that information was given to President Trump in briefings in February. The White House has denied that the President was given that information as it was found not credible.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds is also skeptical about the bounties…

Rounds, a member of the Armed Services Committee, says they know Russia is a threat all over the world…

Rounds says he doesn’t believe the intelligence has any proof of bounties being paid…

The US has signed an agreement with the Taliban mapping out the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan by May of next year.
