While Congress passed a one point one trillion dollar spending bill last week, South Dakota Senator John Thune voted against it. He says it was too much stuffed into one huge bill…..

Thune says he wants to see Congress get back to the normal order where they handle twelve different spending bills…..

Thune says while there are pieces of the bill that are positive for the state, and which he supported, he just couldn’t sign on to the whole version……

The budget bill replaced a number of short term continuing resolutions.
