Members of Congress are back in Washington for the lame duck session, that should wrap up in mid-December.
South Dakota Senator John Thune says they only have a few priority issues…..

The incoming Trump Administration wants to extend the continuing resolution until at least March, which is causing some heartburn among Senate republicans.
Thune says they need to pass a few other bills by the end of the year…..

Thune was also reelected to be Chair of the Republican Senate Conference Committee…..

Thune says they need to gear up for the new session of Congress that begins in January.
