Schools in South Dakota will see increased state aid next year only if their enrollment grows.
Governor Dennis Daugaard said in his budget address this week that tight revenue means no general increase for next year.

Voters in the Freeman district approved a six hundred-thousand-dollar property tax opt out in a special election in August.
