SD Legislative Committee Holds Out on Two Appraiser Rules

The Rules Review Committee of the South Dakota legislature again refused to approve two rules dealing with licensing of appraisers. The Department of Labor and Regulation had submitted the rules making changes in education and certification.
Committee Chairman, Representative Jon Hansen of Dell Rapids said he was concerned with an agreement with South Dakota State University over the education requirements….

The committee voted six to zero to send the two rules back for clarification.
