Businesses in the state appear to be confident they will have a good holiday shopping season to cap the year.
Shawn Lyons, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, says they surveyed their members and found a good deal of optimism……………


Lyons says their members expect a strong holiday shopping season……………


A national estimate predicted a four percent gain in retail sales. Lyons says their members should surpass that.
He says state retailers are working to extend the deals that shoppers are looking for…………
