SD Public Utilities Commissioner Gary Hanson Reelected

Public Utilities Commissioner Gary Hanson was easily reelected to his fourth, six-year term on the commission.
He got sixty nine percent of the vote to twenty five percent to democrat Remi Bald Eagle.
Hanson says he wants to continue his long term priorities..

Hanson says he helped take politics out of the PUC when democrat Steve Kolbeck was on the commission…

Hanson says he wants to keep politics out of utility regulation as much as possible…

Hanson, a former Mayor of Sioux Falls, also served in the legislature before being elected to the PUC in 2002.
