The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission re-organized at their meeting in Pierre Tuesday and elected officers for the next two years.
Current Chair Kristie Fiegen nominated Commissioner Gary Hanson to be Chairman….

Hanson recognized Feigen’s work as Chair, working through rules that returned millions of dollars to consumers from utility companies following federal tax cuts……

Hanson says he appreciates Feigen’s leadership..

Hanson is a former Sioux Falls Mayor and legislator. He was first elected to the PUC in 2002 and re-elected in 2008 and 2014. His current term ends in 2020.
