SD Misses Opportunities on Medicaid Expansion

The election of Donald Trump as President will lead to a move to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and with that, any new money for states to expand Medicaid.
In response to that, South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard says he would not bring an expansion proposal to the legislature.
That was disappointing to State Senator Bernie Hunhoff of Yankton…..

Hunhoff says there were several missed opportunities…..

Hunhoff says legislators have to respect the will of the voters….

Hunhoff did not run for reelection this year.
