A legislative summer study committee will meet again later this month, in an attempt to figure out how much Medicaid health providers need to break even.

The “Payment Methodologies for Medicaid Providers Study” committee held a two day hearing last month, and Committee Chair, Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says she hopes they can drill down on all the information from that meeting…

Hunhoff says she hopes those on the committee can start finding some consensus on possible legislation…..

Hunhoff says most health care providers can only take a limited number of Medicaid payers and stay solvent.
